TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Hello everyone, today I'm coming up with the part 4 of the 7-day series. Are you intrinsically motivated to follow your workout schedule? Part 4. So I'm posting the, I'm reading from my article which was published in Medium.

And so I will be posting the links to both the audio links, the podcast links, as well as the article links to part 1, part 2 and part 3 at the end of this article. And I will also post the link to this episode as an article which is published in Medium.com in this description box in this episode, audio episode. Before you proceed, I must clear out the mental clutter that is going on right now so that I'm able to address what I intended for part 4. My mental clutter that is coming in way of my going straight to writing part 4 is Hey Lalita, your part 1 to part 3 was published so quickly one after another.

You have not started writing part 4. As you can see, those words by themselves are so disempowering. Okay, as I typed until now, I'm aware of the fact that it is truly disempowering. And I can choose to flick these words right away to feel empowered.

Here I go. Lalita, those words are not true. Right now you are typing, taking action for writing part 4. Stop and say cancel, cancel to those words, take a deep breath and move on.

That's what I did while writing. Now I'm taking a deep breath while recording my episode. Here I'm putting a deep breath showing up to the following intention that I set for part 4. What was the intention that I set?

How did I set my exercise routine? What kind of workout did I do? Based upon my experience, how can I help you in this aspect with my solutions? How did I set my exercise routine?

Initially, I set clear intention to the timing and duration of the exercise. As you scan through my 20 plus years of exercise routine, I realized that setting priorities was important. I would make sure that I planned for entire days cooking, dropping kids to school and other business needs. I would set aside a maximum of 30 minutes to exercise every day either in the morning or in the evening.

If you remember reading or listening from part 1, to me, exercising showed up as an opportunity to be consequent upon me losing my job. I would check the weather and decide in the morning whether to work out in the gym in the morning or evening. Once I did that, I would visualize myself going to work for an organization and feel as inspired as my past, highly career oriented self. Now you can imagine for yourself what happens when you are highly motivated and inspired past self comes forward to feed your current evolving self.

You guessed it. I was intrinsically motivated to hit the gym every day. Not only that, your highly motivated and inspired past self is preparing your future self to be healthier. You cannot ask more.

Okay, what kind of workout did I do? To start with, I kept it simple. Being introverted and feeling okay, being that way. I just tried not to hire any trainer.

I worked out in only in treadmill for a few years and based upon my physiotherapist recommendations, I stopped working out in treadmill and continued working out an elliptical machine. After a few years, I started trying out other machines and created my own workout plan. Based upon my experience, how can I help you in this aspect or in this aspect with my decisions? Before you proceed to give my decisions, I want you to understand that I am not, another healthcare provider, professional, nor a trainer.

However, as you are reading or listening, you may relate to my thoughts and intentions. By reading my decisions, you may open up for a new way of thinking or understanding and research more about these decisions. I want you to do that. As a result, you may end up becoming healthier than you could have ever imagined.

And that is my true intention for you. Conclusion and seditions. Don't be afraid to listen to your mind shatter when you want to do something new or different, but is high lifetime value. This phrase, high lifetime value, I got it from my coach Evan Pagan.

And in my medium article, I've also given the link to the coaches website. And in fact, this jumped at me when I was doing his virtual coach certification program. And it really, it really, you know, I keep asking this, is this, is today's activity a high lifetime value? Does it give me a high lifetime value?

I asked this question and that's a powerful question I've been asking for since I did the certification. Quickly flip and choose the empowering thought. Set aside at least 15 minutes to plan your entire day, regardless of whether you are a working woman, a homemaker or self-employed. Be brutally honest with yourself and ask what is most important to you.

To me, making sure that I have made arrangements for adequate, healthy food for my family members is very important. I don't know it's a very intrinsically important core value that I have. If I have not done that, I don't feel true to myself and I can't run my day feeling true to myself. I also cannot feel inspired.

Let your family members know that and allow them to realize how much you value them. Be bold to ask them what is important to each of them. Be frank to each and every one of your family members and say how you can or you cannot contribute in terms of time, effort and money. Be bold to talk about your weakness and allow your family members also to do that and support each other.

Once these simple things are followed, you will realize that magically each of the family members is embracing her autonomy, working harder on herself and becoming competence in all areas of life. More importantly, each member, each family member feels that other members are available to her, respecting boundaries. What is my intention for part 5? What happens to me when I am unable to work out because the gym membership is expensive or I am travelling?

What mindset shifts do I make? I would like to give a shout out to Winston. He is one of the author and medium and there are some publications coffee times for the article 6 months and 4k followers. After what have I learned?

It's about how the publication, how they got so many followers and how the editors work together. This article actually for me is really inspired by the writers like me and I want to thank the author Winston. Until we meet in part 5, give yourself permission to just do that 5 or 10 minute workout and exercise whatever and say your name for the name. You did it and you deserve to feel great and you will show up tomorrow.

Have a fantastic day and in case you missed the previous article's episodes, I have given the links to part 1, part 2, part 3. Both the podcast episodes as well as the medium article. Thank you all. With that said, go check it out, check my medium articles, check my podcast episodes and thank you so much and you have a fantastic day.

Bye bye.
