Are you managing, directing, or leading?

Are you really leading? You’re crossing off todo’s. You’re pushing projects through. You’re even checking in on teammates. But are you leading?   Leadership starts with values. Getting clear on your values is essential to leading effectively but who has time for that? It seemed like something others get to do but definitely not me, definitely not in my job, I’m too busy!   Once I started to realize how my personality influenced my leadership, I realized that values were going to be my north star. As I started to dive deeper, I realized that values are exactly where leadership starts, it’s how we align ourselves and our team with the organization to accomplish more.    If you have “figure out values” on your todo list, or maybe you even have a list on the wall, but you’re not sure your actions and leadership are aligned with them, I’m inviting you to watch this episode and start exploring the idea of values and leadership.    How is this going to affect the way you lead yourself, your family, and your team?
