Are You Not Entertained?! - E73 Highlights from this episode: Are You Not Entertained?! (00:39) Office Talk: Being out of the office & niches (16:50) For better or worse, we are a society that must constantly be entertained. If you don't have charisma to hold people's attention, it's going to be in one ear and out the other. You might say, "why does this matter to me? I'm an eye doctor!", and I would say that it had better matter to you because what are we doing with the person in our exam chair but hoping they listen to the words and advice we give them? In this episode's Run Down I give 5 ways to be entertaining and in turn get your point across and be a better doctor to your patients. (00:39) In this week's office talk I go over how my office operates while I'm out. I don't let the time go to waste for my staff. We use every bit of it to keep on improving as an office. I also talk about doing what you love in your practice. Find that niche or specialty that gets you fired up!
