Are you prepared for a local or regional emergency?

from Encouraging women to live well · host Zenobia DeVeaux Bailey

Colin Downey, Director of Communications for the American Red Cross in the Northwest Region (Seattle, WA), will be our next guest.  As a national Red Cross spokesperson, Colin has worked many of the nation’s largest natural disasters.  During the past eight years, he has conducted interviews with national and international media to tell the Red Cross story. When not responding to disasters, his team uses many forms of traditional and new media to educate the public on the risks of natural disasters in the Northwest and the importance of emergency preparedness. Known for its leadership in disaster relief and keeping our blood supplies fluent and safe, it is also known for a number of other important services including supporting our military families. Another huge service they provide is that of emergency preparedness for individuals, families, schools, businesses, and the community. Office's for the northwest region are based in Seattle.
