Most that take the time to explore this parable usually pull on the familiar threads of patience, preparation, choice and consequence. But we’re taking a slightly different perceptive angle in this study, where we look at what’s happening around Jesus at the time of this teaching, and the hidden messages he was trying to deliver to his followers, but also the precepts and principles upon which he wanted them to be faithful upon waiting for his return.
