You don't need to make a mistake to learn not to make that mistake, the same way you don't need to be hit by a car in order to learn not to cross a busy road. learning how to form good decision making skills is vital for becoming a better version of yourself. learning the consequences of mistakes before you make them will save you unnecessary pain. Now listen, You might have made regrettable decisions in the past, but that's the nature of human beings. We fail. What makes some people more happy and successful than others isn't they don't have pain, its that they learn from the pain they experience before it becomes suffering. Whether you're trials and challenges cause you to suffer or triumph all depends on how you respond, and that is something NO ONE can take away from you!
