Are You Too Hard On Yourself? With Special Guest Lisa Dimino White

from Imperfect Mommying: Better Parenting through Self-Healing with Alysia Lyons · host Lyons Heart Healing

I talked very openly about my struggles with OCD and anxiety and fear. And when I have my kids, they're now 12 And nine. I knew I didn't want to raise them from a place of fear. I knew that I intentionally said to myself self, you are not going to raise these kids to be scared of life. You are going to raise them to be reasonably cautious and not careless but they're going to enjoy being kids. And for me, that meant not liking when they were at the playground playing in the dirt or at a children's museum touching me.   Get to Know Lisa: Known as "The Joy Seeker", Lisa Dimino White has over 20 years of experience in marketing management. She now focuses solely on her passion - inspiring others to actively seek out and create more joy for themselves, their communities, and all of humankind. She does this through her book and podcast, both titled "Bursting with Happiness," professional speaking, and coaching to give clients the tools they need to live their best- and happiest- lives.   Most people are pretty darn amazing and don't recognize their own greatness. Lisa is on a mission to change that. We all have struggles, but they don't define us. No matter what challenges we’re faced with, there's always joy to be found....if we know where to look.   Learn more at www.thejoyseeker.com, or email her about her life-changing “Stop the Spiral” program, designed exclusively for moms of young kids, at [email protected].
