Welcome to the Tweet Trends podcast. Hey, Evette, what's trending today? Hey, I'm Evette, hey girl! And you are tuned in to Tweet Trends.

It's the quickest way to find out what's trending today. I don't know if you've ever heard of this one, but I sure hadn't, but it's International Victorious Woman Month. Let's get started. Okay, so I naturally assumed that International Victorious Woman Month must be something brand new because I'd never heard it before.

However, this has been going on since 2006, so I had to do a little digging to figure out how come I've been missing out on this all these years. And here's the breakdown. Basically, just like how Starbucks will have a day or a month celebration type thing, well, this is a month celebration that was created by a young woman who actually, she launched a book back in 2005 and from that book launch came all of the International Victorious Woman different pieces, whether it's the podcast or the website and the scholarship, the girlfriend gala. There's a host of different things that she offers.

And what it is, bottom line, is her goal is to encourage and empower women. And then also to get those stories out and about of the different people and the struggles that they've had and how they overcame them, especially the ones that are lesser known. You know, everybody's not a celebrity, so everybody doesn't have a platform like that. However, her intent is to try to get those other stories heard because the fact is pretty much a lot of people tend to go through similar situations.

You just may not know any of those people, so you feel really alone. You feel like you're the only one. But if we can get these stories out there, then guess what? Everybody wins because then you realize you're not alone.

You know that there is some support out there. And then hopefully the plan is that you'll be inspired to then go forward, push forward, push through whatever the obstacles are that you're running into and do great things in the world. I feel like I've said a whole lot about the month, but haven't said anything about the woman behind the month. So let me give you a little info on her.

Her name is Anne-Marie Kelly, and she is the visionary behind the Victorious Woman Project. Now, she is a self-proclaimed lifestyle expert, victory strategist and empowerment partner. And even on her website, she says that her goal is to help midlife women find personal empowerment in their lives and in their careers, and that she can actually help you break through glass ceilings, escape a cycle of overcare, or to re-ignite your passions so that you can have a life that you love living. Now, I'm not mad about that.

I think that is an awesome idea that when you get up in the morning, you should be excited about the day and what it has in store for you. It shouldn't be one of those things like you wake up and you're like, oh, time to make the donuts, you know? It shouldn't be like that. And so the fact that she has created this vehicle to help take women from Ho-Hum Drum to Hadi-Hai-Ho, I am all for it.

Way to go, Amory. You do your thing, girlfriend. And so she's got podcasts and everything and just so many different ways that she is trying to reach out to the masses to be like, hey, you don't have to say that because I'm a certain age, because I'm 40 and over, then that means I just have to do what society says I have to do because that's what I've been doing all this time. Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Don't believe the hype. Don't do it, girlfriend. Don't stop. Stop it.

Don't do it. But so seriously, you know, I read her information and it's crazy because one, we're not on age with each other. We don't have the same family makeup background. Like, you know, however, we both had the same understanding of what we were to do.

You know, we were both shy kids. We both said that, you know, we understood our place, that it was go to school, get good grades, go to college, get a degree, get a job, get married, start a family, live happily ever after. That was the game plan. That was the blueprint.

That was what you were supposed to be following. But everything doesn't always work out that way. Because monkey wrenches get thrown into plans. Things happen.

Life happens. And so what Ann Maria is saying is that, you know what? You had a dream at one point in life. Did you ever reach that dream?

Did you reach that goal? If not, let's get to it. Having said all of that, my question to you is, do you have any dreams or aspirations that you maybe had at an earlier age and then you put them off to the side? Something else came up and it took precedence over what it was that you really wanted to do.

So you put it off to the side and you said, you know what? I'll come back to this. Whatever those things were that you said that you'd come back to, how about this? Let's re-examine those things.

Let's evaluate where you were with them, how much further you need to go with it, and how long will it take for you to get it to the finish line. Let's think about those things. But let's do more than just think about it. Let's put some action into it.

It's time to pick up those things. It's time to do the things that's going to make you feel happy and the things that are going to make you feel proud of yourself. You know? For me, personally, starting this podcast was one of those type of things that made me feel proud of myself because initially I had the idea and I was going to do it with a friend.

The friend backed out and I suddenly began to tell myself things that were not true. I told myself that I couldn't start the podcast by myself because it's crazy to sit and talk to yourself without someone being there to respond to you. But I do it now twice a week and I've been doing it for a good little bit of time. And it's not crazy because I'm not the only one out there doing this.

There are so many podcasters out there that have solo shows. But for some reason, there was something in me that was trying to stop me from doing something that I really enjoy doing. So if you have any of those things, any dreams that you had once upon a time that, you know, it's time for you to go back to those things, make those dreams a reality. Stop telling yourself that you can't.

Stop telling yourself that you don't have the time because you're probably on social media doing stuff that's taking away from your time in the day. That's not giving you any type of return of investment. You know? There's no return on watching TikTok videos unless you're watching how-to videos and you're using those how-to videos in your new business that you're starting or that you're about to start.

So I'm just saying, and this isn't just for women. Yes, this is International Victoria's Woman Month and we've all, we're all victorious. You know, let's just say it. Sh-tell the truth and shame the devil.

We're all victorious. But guys, girls, everyone, this is where all of you stop putting off for tomorrow what you can do today. Let's make some moves, let's shake things up, and let's get it done. That was today's episode of Tweet Trends and I think just by making this particular episode, I have now enhanced my resume and have included Empowerment Partner.

I think that's what I am now because I want to be here to empower you to do great things. I want you to be there to hold me accountable as well and be like, you know what, you're not done yet. I want you to keep on keeping on and doing the great things that are out there for you to do because there are things that only you can do. All right, guys.

So do me a favor. Hit me up on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, wherever you find me. Just check for at HeyEve that that's at H-E-E-E-T-E or just look for the hashtag tweet trends. And if you see something, if you want to share something and you want somebody to give you that push, share it with me on any one of those platforms and I got you.

I will check on you and be like, hey, did you do that yet? Hey, how far along have you gotten on that project? Hey, let me see what you got going on. Can I see what you've created so far?

I will be that person. I will nag you into your destiny. I can do that. Trust and believe.

Yes, I can. All right. But you know what? I want that same accountability and that same smoke back, though.

I want you to be pushing me as well. Okay. All right. Well, have a great one.

I'll see you back here again on Thursday. Let's get it done.
