Arguments

I have always said that this show, the podcast in specific, is abut making sure that Ben has a record of me. Who I am, what I thought and believed. I have always wished for some record of my ancestors, and I wanted to make certain that some day, my children and grandchildren would have some idea of who I am and why I am the way I am. I understand that in the future, my ideas will most likely been relegated to the dung heap, and I will thought of of some sort of Philistine. But like me, as I discover the past, perhaps my thinking will eventually be seen again as having a positive effect on Ben and his children. This morning, as we were leaving for school, we had a conversation that I never imagined would take place. It started when he said, “I’m taking my mask, but I am not going to wear it today…”
