Argylle

In this episode of The Moviegoers Society, Sean Tajipour, the Mayor of Nerdtropolis, and Drew Munhausen, the Professional Media and Movie Mastermind, break down Argylle, the latest spy adventure from director Matthew Vaughn. Sean and Drew start the conversation by catching up on upcoming interviews and what they have on the horizon before diving into their full review of Argylle. They discuss the film’s stylish spy world, the over-the-top action, and how Matthew Vaughn brings his signature flair following the success of the Kingsman films. They also talk about the ensemble cast, the twists built into the story, and whether the film delivers the kind of big, fun spectacle audiences expect from a modern spy blockbuster. The conversation expands into the film’s place within the current theatrical landscape and how projects like this fit into the evolving relationship between big studios and streaming platforms like Apple TV. 📽 Follow us on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/dmunhausen/ https://letterboxd.com/nerdtropolis/ 📲 Stay connected: Facebook: https://www.Facebook.com/nerdtropolis Instagram: https://www.Instagram.com/nerdtropolis Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/nerdtropolis TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nerdtropolis
