Arise and Build

The sermon explores Nehemiah's inspection of Jerusalem's ruins to illustrate that God reveals our spiritual ruin before calling His people to action. It emphasizes that lasting restoration requires honest exposure of sin, grounded in the assurance of Christ's grace rather than outward appearances. The preacher encourages believers to trust in God's providence and covenant faithfulness as they face inevitable opposition from the world. By highlighting Nehemiah's reliance on God rather than his own strength, the message affirms that Christ alone guarantees the building of His church. Believers are urged to respond with obedient faith, laboring boldly while resting in the sovereignty of God.
