Arishaland: Everyday Sustainability
from ARISHALAND: CANNABIS & CULTURE POTCAST Hosted by Arishaland
Welcome to Arishaland: Season 5 Today's POTcast is all about the fun ways to use hemp and look at it as a more well rounded plant, how to use it in cool ways that show it's sustainability. Hemp has been around since 8000 B.C. Hemp is not a wasteful crop, since practically each part can be used, from the stalk to the seeds to the leaves. Seeds are used for their oil for paints, adhesives, and plastics, with the leaves used to make juice. The inner, woody layer of the stalk can be used for paper and construction materials, while the outer bast fiber is used to make rope or yarn. What is Arisha? Arisha is a new brand created by pairing parts of the name Ariel and Sadie-Sha together. Arisha is a term traditionally associated with cooperative partnering, royalty, and greatness in folklore.
