Arizona Bounces Back with Big Win | Arizona Wildcats Basketball News

Arizona bounced back with a dominant 107-85 win over Ukraine after a tough opener, led by sophomore Ivan Kharchenkov’s explosive first-half performance. The team shot an impressive 53% from the field and 8-of-15 from three-point range, a stark contrast to their sluggish debut. Ugnius Jarusevicius added 20 points, while freshman Caleb Holt delivered a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Despite a late scare for Kharchenkov—who tweaked his ankle but stayed in—Arizona showed resilience. With key players sidelined and eligibility questions lingering, their final game remains uncertain, possibly facing Lithuania’s B squad. Practice and sightseeing await before Saturday’s showdown.
