Arizona Cardinals Kyler Murray One Big Mistake Caused Loss to Minnesota Vikings

Arizona Cardinals lost another close one in Week 13, this time on the road in Minnesota to the Sam Darnold and Justin Jefferson-led Minnesota Vikings. On a day where the Cardinals committed more penalties than normal, and Drew Petzing's play-calling could have been determined to be more conservative than it should have been, the Cardinals now see themselves sitting at 6-6 and will be fighting for their playoff lives for the remainder of the season. While the penalties and play calling didn't help the matter, Kyler Murray's one big mistake is what cost the team the game. He's the QB1 for the future still, but yesterday it was one decision of his that resulted in the Cardinals loss. There are still many positives to come out of yesterday's loss. Trey McBride is a bonafide star who has incredible cohesion with Kyler Murray. James Conner ran very hard and effectively. The defense, let yesterday by Kyzir White and Mack Wilson, held the high-powered Vikings offense in check for the majority of the game. In the end, it just wasn't quite enough.
