Arizona Cardinals Need to Be Proactive, Not Reactive, for Remainder of Season

Arizona Cardinals have the most important game of the season coming up on Sunday at home against the Seattle Seahawks. Jonathan Gannon and Drew Petzing have been under fire for their conservative playcalling and Kyler Murray's shared some of the blame with his performance late in games recently. The Cardinals must be more proactive on offense, calling a hybrid gameplan featuring James Conner still but also more heavily featuring Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr, and Michael Wilson to keep opposing defenses on their heels. Also, one or two designed runs for Kyler Murray at opportune times to catch opposing defenses off guard has worked well this year, so it must return. Looking at the big picture, though, the Arizona Cardinals are building out their roster with set and forget stars for years to come including Budda Baker, Garrett Williams, Kyzir White, Mack Wilson, Paris Johnson Jr, Hjalte Froholdt, and obviously Murray, Conner, McBride, MHJ, and Wilson.
