Arizona Lands Big Forward Godfrey | Arizona Wildcats Basketball News

RJ Godfrey, a towering 6’8”, 240-pound forward who bounced between Clemson and Georgia, is officially committing to Arizona — a move that could anchor their frontcourt after losing key pieces from last year’s Final Four run. Averaging 12 points and 5+ rebounds per game, Godfrey brings immediate impact and steps into the void left by Tobe Awaka. After playing backup roles early at Clemson, he’s now primed for a starring role in Tucson, joining big names like 7-footer Moteijus Krivas and Ivan Kharchenkov. This signing signals Arizona’s serious push to reload and reclaim elite status — a major storyline as the new season looms.
