Arizona Wildcats Learn on Lithuanian Soil | Arizona Wildcats Basketball News

Arizona’s young Wildcats dropped a gritty 99-88 opener against Lithuania’s B Team, struggling to find their rhythm in the first half but showing flashes of life in the second. Despite sophomore Ivan Kharchenkov’s 25 points and Motiejus Krivas’ home-country cameo, Lithuania’s veteran poise and sharp basketball IQ proved too much. Coach Tommy Lloyd framed the loss as a vital growth experience, stressing culture-building over wins. With Ukraine up next, the focus remains on cohesion and development — this tour is about progress, not perfection.
