Arm Yourself With Christ's Mind: 1 Peter 4:1-6: Day 16

Following Jesus means choosing God's will over the desires and approval of the world.Peter returns to suffering, but now he challenges believers to see it differently. Because Christ suffered in the flesh, we are called to arm ourselves with the same mindset, not seeking suffering, but being willing to follow Jesus even when obedience is costly. Following Christ means leaving behind the patters of our former lives. We don't live for the desires of the flesh anymore. We live for the will of God.
