D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier jumps on the bandwagon, after the terrorist attack in Paris, saying "the best option for saving lives before the police can get there" would be for citizens to try to subdue, or even kill, the gunman. The only problem is she doesn't say how at the citizens should do that as she is not following through in setting up the procedures for citizens getting a concealed weapon permit. The only thing we can come up with is she wants them to beat a terrorist with another terrorist.
