California listed 23 LAUSD schools as some of the lowest performing schools in the state. Shirin Parsavand explained what being a low-performing school means. Karen Marcus spoke with Micheline Robertson, who runs a dance group of Haitian women in South LA.  Paula Kosowski spoke with a Nigerian religious leader in LA about the sectarian violence in his country.
