UC students will see a 32 percent increase in tuition rates by the fall of next year – much to the anger of students. We’ll hear from students who were protesting the University of California Board of Regents approved proposal. Also, Martin Luther King Junior Hospital got a big boost today, UC Board also agreed a plan to partner with L.A. County to reopen the hospital. Hear what Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and local South L.A. residents had to say about new plans for the hospital. In addition, the Don’t Dump on L.A. campaign, the city’s effort to prevent illegal dumping, got a progress report today. Hear what city officials and residents had to say about the improvements and what else they want to do to make the city a little cleaner.
