ARN Live Show - October 20, 2009

from Annenberg Radio News · host Peter Griffin

Now that California has medicinal marijuana clinics, and the federal government has announced that they won’t bust those clinics anymore, full legalization of pot might be the next step.  Host Peter Griffin talked with UC Davis Law School’s Vikram Amar about what that might mean for California.  LAUSD broke ground today on a new school, Juanita Tate Elementary, in South Los Angeles.  It’s part of a large push by the school district to build new schools in Los Angeles.  Reporter Richie Duchon was at the groundbreaking.  And seafood might just have a chance.  Ariel Edwards-Levey was with chefs, scientists and hungry Angelenos to hear about the movement for sustainable seafood. Producer: Matthew Richmond, Host: Pete Griffin, Live Guest: Carlos Saucedo (ATVN). Featuring instrumental tracks from music by Cat Bag Music, Ne-Yo, and Ryan Amen.
