A massive raid on the Avenues gang produced dozens of arrests early this morning.  The suspects, alleged members of the Avenues gang of Northeast LA, face federal charges.  We’ll hear from the police on why they went after this notorious gang.  Also, Meg Whitman officially announced announced her candidacy for the Republican gubernatorial nomination.  We talked with political analyst Dan Schnur about what kind of candidate she’ll be.
