"Around Midnight" // Acts 16 (Sunday 5/26/24)

"Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!" Could this lyric from Psalm 43 be relevant for us today? Where are you feeling discouraged or sad? Are there circumstances in your life that cause you to feel trapped, or at a dead-end? I'm sure Paul and Silas felt just like that as they were beaten and thrown into prison in Acts 16. What they chose to do in that situation, and how God showed up for them, is truly astounding. It's my favorite moment in all of Acts, probably because it involves singing...one of my favorite things! You won't want to miss this Sunday, where we'll be inspired and encouraged to find freedom in our most difficult circumstances.
