Around The Cracker Barrel - The 14th Annual Amado Chili Cookoff November 16th 2024 (Aired 11/01/2024)

The Amado Chili Cook-Off is right around the corner...Saturday November 16th in Amado from 9am to 3pm. It is the Chili Cookoff like No Other with so many events happening throughout the day! The Chili will begin serving at 10:30am.Guy Atchley was joined by  Amy Bass, Executive Director of Prevention, PPEP, Inc. and Event Director of the Amado Chili Cook-off and Ed Dunin-Wasowicz, D-W/McGarrity, Inc., and Chair of the Amado Chili Cook-off Committee. This 14th Annual Event benefits the Amado Youth Center with Amy sharing the importance of this community center which has programs to work with the youth in the Amado area. Amy tells us about the SantaCruz Valley Car Nuts which will have great representation at the Car Show Ed shares on the reasons his company became involved in the great event. He also talked about the importance of the many sponsors involved in this event taking place and shares how others can help with donations towards the cause.  They share info on what to expect when attending November 16th and how it starts with a great car show, followed by a dozen chili chefs cooking up for the Chili Tasting Event and live music throughout the day and a Holiday Vendor Fair! To get to the Event November 16th, take I-19 to Exit 48 Arivaca.
