Mexico is comprised of 32 states, 10 of which are controlled by one of Mexico's political parties, PAN and the others which are controlled by the Morena party, of which Mexico's President Obrador is the party leader. Gera lives in the city of Tampico, located, in the state of Tamaulipas, which falls under the PAN party.  In general, the PAN takes a more serious approach to dealing with the Corona virus than the Morena party.
