Arrest Made in Michelle Parker Cold Case
from Forensic Files Unsealed Hosted by AC Wilson
Law enforcement officials in Orlando announced a major breakthrough in a long-standing cold case involving the 2011 disappearance of Michelle Parker, a mother who vanished shortly after appearing on television with her former partner. Authorities revealed that Dale Smith Jr., her ex-fiancé and the last person known to see her, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Investigators credited modern advancements in digital forensics and technology for allowing them to re-examine historical evidence, uncover precise location data, and resolve discrepancies in prior testimony. While specific evidentiary details are currently being withheld to protect the integrity of the prosecution, officials expressed hope that this development finally brings a measure of closure to the victim's family.
