Greetings, greetings. Welcome to another episode of Truth to Power, I'm your host, Tyra Sarabianite. And tonight I want to talk about arresting the truth. Now, before I get into that, I wanted to discuss some things.
I really want to get my feelings out, about the way I get my some things that's been going on. And if you listen to the show, you know, I don't really put a lot of stock into feelings or just like emotional ratification. I don't put too much stock into that. Now, a lot of things have been going on, a lot of things have transpired since the last time I've done a show.
I was supposed to do this show. I was supposed to do a show like Wave, like, months ago, just to people promote my movie, Lowing in Fruit, which debuted at the World War II Museum in New Orleans, a great epic, successful night. Thank you all who had attended. Thank you all who promoted the event.
All who supported the event, I appreciate you all. Thank you so much. And I really got the reaction that I was looking for, to show them that black people can come, dress up, do business with each other, be owned business, and be owned businesses. That's the reaction I wanted.
They had frowns on their faces, and I say, they already know what I'm talking about. Now, as I got the time to, as I'm on a road, I got the time to do a show and just talk about something that's been going on transpiring in my personal life. Now, recently, I was arrested, like two months ago, I was arrested, by justly. Also, I thought that a white guy did it.
Not only did the judge, not a white guy did it, it was on tape. Not only was it on tape, but the white guy did it. The judge still gave me time, put me, placed me under the white guy's name, in order to hide me away from the system. To hide me away from my family members, so they would be able to compose my bill, tell me from my family and my friends, who are going crazy because they thought I was dead.
Nobody, no other than Judge Shainer, Beebus, Morant, lined me up because she's a suspected vice-appomistice female judge, and a great division in courts. Now, I was arrested, and not only that, she kept on increasing my bond, but like five days straight, you guys. Five days straight, she increased my bond, and it hopes that I wouldn't be able to pay it, but she can't do it. From my understanding, she can't, this she held my bond, but she held my bond, which she can't do.
She was told that she can't do that, especially on the simple contempt charge. They're seen with two felonies. That's why it's a premise. Then they lied on me, they said I cussed out.
They took four officers to hold me down and things like that. Even though that situation calls for that, my reaction throughout their whole process was called. Surprisingly, my whole reaction throughout their whole process was called. The opinion thing is show the world that when I say I can handle adversity, I can handle adversity, I can handle catastrophic events happening, and I can still rise above all the BS that anybody personally can do.
But I mean, I did this show because of that reason right there. They let you guys know that you could make it through any adverse situation. I think it is quote that Dr. Oletanje told me, my professor from Xavier, for those who have heard the show and they have listened to me, I probably have said this statement on numerous of occasions.
And that statement is put on your armor, you are a warrior, gold and fight. She told me that that was going for my master's at Xavier University. She told me that I was going through a difficult time, a very difficult time. And a white woman at the time, nonetheless, was trying to stop me from graduating then too.
They're trying to stop me then too, from achieving a goal. Now, even though, now back to this working, even though everything was on tape, this races, I dare to call her a woman, this race is piece of filth. You know what I'm just gonna go out of it and get wrong. This race is piece of shit bitch, still want to give me 240 days, 240 days for something that I did not do.
This woman, this filth is bitch. She doesn't deserve a title woman, really, really went there. And she tried and tried to stop me, but nonetheless, I came out on top, I came through and did my thing, as you all know. She's missed my income slightly, still big, but hustles figure it out.
If you hustle, you gon' figure it out. That's nothing to worry about. She only stopped me for a moment. Now put it on time, now put it on home.
She only stopped me for a moment. As I progress, I must say, I make this never sell to save. You got, there has to be a day of reckoning, especially when it comes to white supremacists, especially when it comes to people in their life, what's not doing right? A day of reckoning must happen.
And just what happens, I got the wheels turning on a day of reckoning. People thought that I would be drawing it, they thought I went back, they thought a lot of things. I guess at the, at that time, I guess, really, truly, I guess people thought I would be weak. I would be somebody that they could trample over, but I know being that person and I never will be that type of person.
You have to atone for your sins, and you have to atone for everything that you've ever done to me. I will never let this go. If I gotta go to Washington, DC, in the Supreme Court, I will never let this go. She will pay, and so will many others who can't put me in that position.
And that's just what it is. I know a lot of people are, got this whole thing, where they go, but do you think that's a small idea? What if you lose, but what if I win? I don't have no time for doubts.
I don't have no time for people that don't believe in me. I have no patience for those people. Men at all. I made it too far.
I've come too far, but they have you doubt me. How many times I got a food wrong? How many times I got to show you? I'm not the one to mess with.
How many times? They arrested the truth, not the truth is free. They said the truth was that too free, but not the truth is free. And you know, I can't wait to put it out on display.
And it just really opened up on them. Not in the physical way. You guys know how they go. Or you get the black man through it.
Nah, nah, nah, we don't do that. We're smaller than that. We're better than that. We're not barbarians.
Like them. We're better than that. But like I said, I was unjustly arrested. And there are people that's gonna pay for that.
And you know what's interesting? I don't mind going to jail for something that I believe in. But going to jail for a drug addict, a piece of field that's overdosed for a team time this year alone, I have a huge problem with that. Also, I have a huge problem with being placed in a position.
And nobody coming to make a bit mess with that. I'm coming to repair that. What are my worries? There will be a day of reckoning.
And you know what else? You know what's interesting about me, what I always like about me. I've always figuratively. I've always been able to smile, face of the people, hands that I'm about to go to the chapel.
And they've done things to me. And they're just like, oh, real cool, right? I'm like, yeah, of course. You know, that's the one on the bridge.
No, that's the one on the bridge. Can you pass the bridge around without burning this bridge for the rest of your life? And to be honest with you guys, when I first came out of jail, I was slightly depressed. I was.
But having a good friend, like I got a shout out down, Lisa Donnell, who helped me through it, who started I was depressed. And just wouldn't let me go. Just wouldn't want those people that just wouldn't let me leave without knowing that I was all right, that wouldn't just tolerate being okay, one of those type of people. Very blessed to have her in my life.
She came through, she chatted over me, she said, tell us leave it easy. I come straight to Houston, Texas. Stay with us, clear your mind for a while. You don't have to do nothing.
We got to shout out to Dany Shum. Thank God for you. Thank God a lot. I really do.
She did wave her. She didn't pick at me when I was vulnerable. But there was a lot of people that did. And guess what?
Not that I'm back. And I do mean a hundred percent back. It took some work. But people forget I rebuilt myself before.
They say my first rodeo. And not that I'm a hundred percent back. People will pay. People will pay.
This isn't just an episode of a piecales. This is a declaration of war. Just know I'm never waving a white flag. I would never give up until everybody's that was involved with me pays significantly to the point where they grant children.
Remember my name. And if you know me, you know, once I say something, I'll put something to atmosphere. I'll make it happen. Even if it's by my loan.
There has been this episode of Shum to Power. I want you guys to have a good night.
