In this edition of the Business Spotlight, Andy Taylor sits down with Allie Mendez, Community Liaison for Arroyo Gardens, to talk about the exciting activities happening at the community. As part of National Assisted Living Week, Arroyo Gardens has been celebrating with themed cultural days, offering residents and staff unique experiences through food, music, and fun decorations.Looking ahead, Arroyo Gardens is preparing for its Fall Prevention Awareness Event on September 26th. This important community gathering will feature a welcome from Senator Galadon with a state proclamation, expert presentations from the University of Arizona, Farm Care, Bayada Home Health, and the Southern Arizona Falls Prevention Coalition. Attendees can also participate in interactive sessions including chair Zumba, Tai Chi, and a demonstration on how to fall safely. Vendors and local partners will be on site to share resources, while tours and a Light lunch will also be available for visitors.Allie also shared more about the heart of Arroyo Gardens in Green Valley.
