Gegenstand des Gesprächs ist der Entwurf zum Strafprozessrechtsänderungsgesetz 2024, die dazu eingegangenen Stellungnahmen und die rechtspolitischen Entwicklungen dazu. Nach dem Erkenntnis des VfGH G 352/2021 vom 14. Dezember 2023 zur Verfassunsgwidrigkeit der bisherigen Bestimmungen ist die Rechtslage bis zum 31. Dezember 2024 anzupassen. Bisher konnte jedoch keine Einigung zu einer Neuregelung gefunden werden. Wir sprechen über die Folgen dieser Nichteinigung und mögliches Zukunftsszenarien.
