Arsenal 2-2 Bayern: A HUGE Opportunity Missed...(EP.210)
from The Arsenal Therapy Podcast · host Hosted by Adam Keys
Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about the club we love, Arsenal Football Club. Goals from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard in each half ensure that we head to Germany on level terms for the second leg next week. Our Champions League quarter-final debut since 2010 began perfectly as Saka beautifully curled the ball inside the far post. However, the reigning German champions, with an 11-year streak, quickly responded, capitalizing on a defensive error to equalize through Serge Gnabry before taking the lead with Harry Kane's penalty just before halftime. Second-half substitutes Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard combined brilliantly, allowing the Belgian to net our equalizer with 15 minutes left. Despite a strong penalty appeal in injury time, the match remains finely poised for the return leg in Munich.
