Art Meets Football at the University of Idaho | Boise News

The University of Idaho is turning game weeks into art nights, as senior art major Emma Cuddy paints a fresh masterpiece every week inspired by the Vandal football team—blending oil on canvas with cleats on turf. Sparked by a film about van Gogh and championed by video director Richard Pathomsiri, this bold fusion has gone viral, delighting both sports fans and art lovers. Coach Thomas Ford Jr. applauds the human creativity in an AI-saturated world, while fans can bid on the paintings—with proceeds supporting both Emma and the athletics department. It’s proof that mixing art and athletics can create something truly unforgettable. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
