Art Walk: 'Art Whispers' by Esther Kin and Treehouse NDSM

from NDSM Art Walks

The NDSM wharf is a place to wander and be inspired by all forms of art and creativity. As an artist working in this field, I would like to guide you in a way that takes you into a part of my work process.‍I think it can also encourage you to create or realize new things. By becoming aware of the images, objects, sounds or other sensations that appeal to your interest at that moment, you start your own creative process, something that is not only reserved for artists. It can be the start of a new idea, plan, decision or awareness of what is already there. By cooking up art and creative expressions in this way, you can use your personal interest even better in shaping your daily life.Esther Kin loves the combination of emotion and movement. Two things she always tries to use in her work. Materials that work well for her are ink and brushes. She can make a grand gesture without being tempted to distort or cover up, which often detracts from spontaneity. Finding the balance between control and expression (letting go) is a real challenge to create work that is open and inviting, shows courage, but does not overflow with brutality. For her current work she worked on Motion Graphic Design, animation, illustration and calligraphy. All invisible preludes to her current developments. She enjoys supporting others in finding their creative language, with which they can give their own interpretation to the things that are close to their hearts.

Tao Te Ching by Laozi (Author), Stephen Mitchell (Full Audiobook) Laozi Lao-tzu's Tao Te Ching, or Book of the Way, is the classic manual on the art of living, and one of the wonders of the world. In eighty-one brief chapters, the Tao Te Ching looks at the basic predicament of being alive and gives advice that imparts balance and perspective, a serene and generous spirit. This book is about wisdom in action. It teaches how to work for the good with the effortless skill that comes from being in accord with the Tao (the basic principle of the universe) and applies equally to good government and sexual love; to child rearing, business, and ecology.Stephen Mitchell's bestselling version has been widely acclaimed as a gift to contemporary culture.
