Robotic Colonization Now, as serious plans are made for space colonization, the question then emerges whether we have the necessary artificial general intelligence systems for space colonization that can be depended upon. So, the question is as we prepare to colonize space: What is required to develop the AGI algorithms? What is the nature of data sets that would be required for developing artificial general intelligence that humans can depend on for compelling space exploration and colonization? Or do we even need data sets to train algorithms?Moreover, as space mission and applications produce a massive amount of data, do we have the capability to analyze the exploding data in a timely and efficient manner?How do we understand the nature of the data that we have to the data we need, and how will that influence the designing and developing AGI algorithms?What are the limiting factors for AGI development for space endeavors? How do we understand the correctness of the algorithms to get in different contexts or conditions?To be able to establish future homes in space, we will likely need to prepare planets for human survival. What role will AGI, play in preparing planets to Earth-like conditions? What kind of algorithmic advances will be necessary to prepare AI for the imminent role?
