Artisan's Corner with Jayne Dion

In today's conversation we get a sneak peak into Jayne Dion's recent series, including her "Trees of Mysteries" series, her "Toxic Garden" pastels and her "Fold in Time" graphite collection. Set in California, Jayne lets us sit in at her private studio, as she shares her inspiration, her collection and her passion for creating. Jayne shared with us that she sometimes sits silently for hours at a time, putting her creative thoughts together. From that point of envisioning her design, she begins with her hands. Jayne is self taught and I believe talents are limitless. Starting at a young age, Jayne felt a kinship with the trees, and would often be found sketching quietly in and among them. Her career as a muralist, lead to a position as a lead set designer. Approximately 5 years ago she began exploring what she wanted to create for herself and her art has been unfolding and evolving ever since. In my opinion, Jayne's art is a treat for the eyes, but there is a much deeper level to her creations.
