Artist Interview: Stephanie Doddridge
from SALA Podcast Hosted by SALA Festival
South Australian visual artist Stephanie Doddridge chats with SALA about her arts practice which explores relationships between people, plants and places through sculpture, installation, textiles, printmaking, and knowledge-sharing. Drawing on practices of care and site-responsive research, Doddridge investigates how everyday acts of tending and cultivating can grow more nourishing, reciprocal relationships with the natural world. We hear about her time learning from Bio.R, and discuss 'Tools for Quiet Activism', her exhibition at the Museum of Economic Botany during the 2026 SALA Festival. This episode is sponsored by Inspiring South Australia, which provides South Australians with opportunities to connect with, be involved in and get excited about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
