Mike The Grey is the "stage name" of Michael Terry. Mike, who began greying in his teens, was actually referred to as "Grey Mike" by his friends because he was one of several Michaels in various groups he hung out with. His involvement with music began in the 80's, following his older siblings around gigs, recording sessions, and band practices with an R&B group called Black Diamond. Originally, too young to perform with his sibling's funk-influenced band, his role was primarily to support their practice sessions playing keyboards and percussion on original songs and covers from Prince, Gap Band, Rick James, and others. Those early influences can still be heard in the music he creates today. ***************************************************************************************************************************** Dreaming While Awake   “Cloud Walker” is a collaboration between singer Kenna-Rae from Houston, Texas, and producer Espen Skaar from “Dreaming While Awake” out of San Francisco, California. After meeting online they decided to do a free-form collaboration in which Espen came up with a bassline and basic horn riff - and Kenna-Rae wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals.
