In this week’s show our guest Angela Fama, an interdisciplinary photo based artist. Born in Tennessee, she was raised in Ontario and Zimbabwe, Ms. Fama currently lives in Vancouver, BC. She is interested in exploring the tension inherent in our collective desire for both the temporal and transcendent. She investigates themes of meaning, emotion, memory and change. Ms. Fama is often found burrowing through the endless excess, finding substance and beauty in the overlooked or forgotten.During her interview she describes herself as a third culture kid, we discuss gender identity, he project "what is love," other projects including one about death, and how she supports her artistic projects through fundraising through kickstarter.Mystic-Skeptic Radio produces programs such as Uncensored & Raiders of the Unknown.
