Artist talk: Andrea Zittel

In conjunction with the American artist Andrea Zittels exhibition Lay of My Land at Magasin 3 fall of 2011, she held a lecture about her work and how she uses her home and studio A–Z West in Joshua Tree, California to explore ideas about what humans need for survival. For over two decades she has created minimal households where everyday activities like sleeping, eating, cooking and social situations become artistic acts.
