For 47 years Ofelia Esparza and now her children have continued to help lead the Dia De Los Muertos Celebrations sponsored by Self Help Graphics in East Los Angeles. Ofelia Esparza brought her artistic abilities and her family history of Altar making to the greater community of East Los Angeles, and has been honored by the National Endowment of the Arts. In addition, Ofelia and her daughter Rosanna offer health and wellness activities in the community and for women who have been incarcerated through their Tonalli Studio.
