Arts Check-up #1: Performing Arts

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent need to avoid public gatherings, as well as the implementation of the Movement Control Order, performing arts activities in Malaysia have ground to a halt. This has affected not just planned performances and stagings, but in many cases, the livelihoods of many members of the local arts community.
