Arts Eclectic: 'Tryouts'
from KUT News Hosted by KUT News
This month, Salvage Vanguard Theater is presenting the world premier of Adara Meyer’s 'Tryouts'. The play takes a satirical look at femininity and motherhood, drawing inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Virgin and Child with St. Anne” and Sigmund Freud’s dubious analysis of the painting. Actors Luxy Banner and Paige Tautz and director Diana Lynn Small talk about the play.
