E mentre la Cantini indaga sul delitto parallelamente alla polizia, riuscendo a introdursi nella gang e a guadagnarsi la fiducia di alcuni di questi ragazzini alla deriva, racconta anche di sé, e del tempo che passa inesorabile con il carico di delusioni e cicatrici che si porta appresso.
