Wednesday January 23, 2019 noon to 1pm CST Host/producer Maria Vasquez Boyd welcomes Dan Hadley, David Bears, Heather Campbell, Gregg Higginbotham, Ralph Monaco, and Garrett Lipps members of HIP-Historical Interpretive Programs. “HIP” stands for Historical Interpretive Programs. HIP is a group of experienced, talented interpreters, historians, artists and performers who are passionate about preserving and promoting the rich historical legacy of our region. HIP partners with area historic sites and organizations to offer compelling educational “living history” programs and events to the public. HIP strives for a high level of historical accuracy in everything we do. HIP members work together to conduct exhaustive research in every aspect of its programming; from narratives drawn from primary sources, to historically accurate recreated settings, furnishings, clothing, hairstyles and dialogue. HIP members pay no dues; HIP has no by-laws. We are a group of like-minded individuals committed to creating high quality living history events and activities that tell the stories from our past.
