CATHERINE ANDERSON- Released in 2019 of Fourth Full-length Collection of Poetry: Everyone I Love Immortal Catherine Anderson’s most recent collection of poetry is Everyone I Love Immortal (Woodley Memorial Press, Washburn University). Other collections are Woman with a Gambling Mania (Mayapple Press), The Work of Hands (Perugia) and In the Mother Tongue (Alice James Books). She has received awards from the Massachusetts Artists Foundation, The Crab Orchard Review and the I-70 Review. In 2019, she was a finalist for the Jake Adam York Auburn Witness Poetry Prize from the Southern Humanities Review. Of Anderson’s recent collection, biographer Linda Leavell has written: “Arising out of losses both personal and cosmic, these poems reach across distances—of language and time and of death and suffering—to achieve moments of ‘startling intimacy.’” Poet Denise Low writes of Everyone I Love Immortal: “Throughout this masterful collection are magic potions for journeys, love, and transforming loss.
