Double-tracked vocals and guitar surround the listener in a melancholy sadness that is relatable and, in a way, comforting. Though the song explores the excruciating pain of loss, it offers a bit of comfort by reminding us that there is, in fact, no deeper meaning to pain and that pain is simply another part of the human experience. “Extra Pain” will be released on December 6th, 2019. Heath Church is an American singer-songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri who primarily plays indie-folk music. His style is inspired by artists such as Elliott Smith, John Prine, Rivers Cuomo, and The Smiths.
