Aruma Resources targets growth across copper projects

Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX) managing director Grant Ferguson talked with Proactive about progress across the company’s exploration portfolio, including drilling at the Tillex Copper-Silver Project in Ontario’s Timmins mining district and ongoing work around the Fiery Creek Copper Project in Queensland’s Mt Isa copper belt. Ferguson said drilling was continuing to progress well, with the company working through its planned program and seeking to improve its understanding of the scale and geometry of the mineralised system. The work is focused on testing strike potential, gaining greater insight into depth and assessing the possible width of mineralisation. At Tillex, Aruma is progressing its Phase 2 diamond drilling campaign, with six holes completed for a total of 1,046 metres. First assay results are expected within the next two weeks, providing the company with further information to guide the next stages of exploration. Ferguson also highlighted additional field reconnaissance and targeting work, designed to refine future exploration priorities and prepare the company for further activity. The company is also moving toward completion of an approximately $3.1 million capital raising, providing further funding as it advances its exploration programs.
