As a Twelve- Year Old, Hulissa Aguilar Shares her Personal Experience of Having her Father Detained

When Hulissa Aguilar was 12 years old her father was detained by ICE. She recounts the trauma and strain on her and her family. Now a college student studying politics and law, she remembers how it affected her life. Even though the scars remain she has worked hard to heal her past.
