Em um mercado cada vez mais competitivo, as grandes empresas apresentam certas vantagens em relação às pequenas. Com mais recursos e domínio de tecnologias, as Big Techs podem ajudar ou dificultar a criação de novas ideias. Muitos dos nomes mais conhecidos do setor de tecnologia começaram como um pequeno grupo de pessoas trabalhando na garagem, mas isso é algo que não se vê mais. Hoje, é mais comum que empresas já consolidadas apresentem produtos e processos disruptivos a partir da incorporação de ideias de startups, por exemplo. É uma prática que já se tornou comum no mercado: pequenas empresas apresentam e amadurecem uma ideia e, depois, Big Techs a adquirem. Por um lado, é interessante ver propostas ganharem espaço no mercado, mas por outro, há um certo monopólio que pode prejudicar a inovação.
