As Christ has treated you, so you be to others (Romans 15:1-13)

from CV Community Church · host CVCC Media

In the Old Testament, the people of God were known externally by following God’s laws. This is how they were set apart from the other nations and showed that they belong to the God of Israel. Today, Christians do not have a set of laws or regulations that define us but, as Paul would say, we are a people who are defined by our love, especially our love for one another. This is the guiding light, the salt of the earth, a city on the hill, and how we show that we belong to the God of Israel. In this sermon, we will be challenged to look to the example of Christ Jesus – how He has come and humbled Himself, becoming like one of us, to live a sin free live and die a death as though He were a sinner, in order to pay for our sins and so we in turn live a life of sacrificial love for one another. We use Jesus as our great example as He is the greatest example of God. May this sermon be a blessing to you.
